The location is perfect, just steps from the beach, and we loved the peaceful atmosphere. With our baby, it was great to have easy access to Sans Souci Beach for a quiet day. The staff made our stay fabulous and were so accommodating.
In my wife’s opinion, the shower drain needs better maintenance. It pooled water, which is tricky with a young one. A kiddie pool would be a great addition for families with little ones.

Incredible views from the 10th floor enhanced our stay. the spacious room featured a comfortable balcony ideal for morning coffee. Staff were consistently friendly, making the experience enjoyable. However, strong cigarette and cigar smoke from neighboring balconies ruined our relaxation, leading to an uncomfortable confrontation with disrespectful guests. Despite this, the hotel is charming and conveniently located near quieter spots away from the hustle.

The hotel offers easy walking paths to the nearby beaches, making it a perfect spot for families. We loved using the beach chairs provided and enjoyed our time soaking in the sun while the kids explored the shallow waters of the ocean. The views were stunning!
In my wife's opinion, the hotel could really improve by offering more dining options throughout the day for families with kids.

I had a lovely stay at the Lotus Honolulu at Diamond Head. The location is perfect, close to quiet Kaimana Beach and just a short walk to both Kapiolani Park and Diamond Head. I loved the complimentary use of bicycles and beach chairs, making beach days super easy. The ocean view from my room was beautiful, with a balcony perfect for morning coffee. I appreciated the cleanliness of the room and the cozy feel of the decor. The staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating, always offering helpful tips about the area. The complimentary wine hour added a nice touch to unwind in the evenings. However, there were a few downsides. The lack of a pool was disappointing, especially during hot days. The restaurant was closed during my stay, which limited dining options. Additionally, the walls seemed a bit thin, as I could hear noise from adjacent rooms and common areas. Despite these issues, I would definitely consider returning for the location and friendly staff.

I recently spent five nights at the Lotus Honolulu At Diamond Head in a Partial Ocean View Room. The location was superb, just a short walk to the beach and near Diamond Head. Free bike rentals and complimentary beach chairs made our beach outings easy and fun. Staff members were incredibly friendly, always greeting me with a smile. The room itself was clean and well-appointed, though the view was partially obstructed by nearby buildings. The balcony offered a quiet space, perfect for enjoying my morning coffee. However, the dining options were quite limited, with the restaurant closed during our stay on certain days. Overall, while I loved the ambiance and the helpful staff, the dining limitations and room arrangement could be improved.
